Venturing into the lesser-known VPN territory, IPVanish is a US-based VPN provider. Now, it being based in the US isn’t a particularly good sign, but worry not - IPVanish isn’t on this “Best VPNs” list without reason.

First of all, IPVanish offers a strict no logging policy. To add to that, there’s the standard AES 256-bit data encryption in place. Even more - not only does the company support OpenVPN, but it also allows you to choose from other protocols, too.

The speed that the VPN provides isn’t anything spectacular, but it’s definitely more than acceptable. I experienced a mediocre decrease from my original speed whilst using this VPN, which is not even close to being a game-breaker.

Price-wise, Trust.Zone is also up there with the best of them. The company’s most popular 2-year plan would cost you $2,99per month - one of the most-affordable alternatives on this list.

To add to that, same as ExpressVPN, Surfshark is located in the British Virgin Islands - one of the best locations to base a VPN in!

Furthermore, there are no DNS leaks, no data security breaches and nothing else of that nature. For the most part, Surfshark has a pretty clean track record!
