What is the VCU health incentive pay? ›

Incentive Program. Each time you complete a goal in the VCU Health System ChoiceCARE Rewards Program, you earn reward dollars that are deposited directly into your Health Reimbursem*nt Account (HRA). An eligible employee and an eligible spouse can each earn up to $300 per calendar year.

The VCU Health System ChoiceCARE medical plan is a health reimbursem*nt account (HRA) plan administered by Optima Health, and you will receive one ID card to use for your medical and prescription drug needs. When scheduling your appointment, you will choose from three network options.

All employees of the university, regardless of employment group, are state employees. Some VCU employees are also eligible to receive state employee benefits.

All visits to University Student Health Services are covered by a Student Health fee charged to students each semester.

All VCU students residing in Brandt, GRC, GRC III, Rhoads, and Honors College are required to purchase one of the Residential Dining Plans. By contracting to live in one of the above residence halls, the student is required to contract with VCU Dining Services for a 200 Swipe or greater Dining Plan.
