Shiny Pokémon were added in version 5.0.35. Like in official Pokémon games, the difference between shinies and regular Pokémon is purely visual and has no effect on the stats of the Pokémon. Every Pokémon in the game can be found as a shiny, including fusions and triple fusions.
Unlike in official games, the shiny colors are determined with an algorithm. Because of this, most Pokémon have different shiny colors than in the official games (the ones that have similar colors do so by sheer coincidence).
Shiny rates[]
The odds of encountering a shiny Pokémon are 1 in 4096, which is the same rate as in official Pokémon games starting with generation 6. The Shiny Charm, which is obtained after completing the post-game increases these odds to 1 in 1365.
Fusion[]
When fusing a shiny Pokémon with another Pokémon, the resulting fusion will also be shiny. Every fused Pokémon has three potential shiny color schemes, depending on if the shiny Pokémon was used as the body, as the head, or if both Pokémon were shiny.
When unfusing a shiny Pokémon, the parts that were originally shiny before they were fused will retain their shininess.
