Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Whisk Oxidation & metal residue I bought this about a 2 months ago but only started using it about a month ago and I noticed that the whisk had all these white powdered spots all over it after washing. I also noticed the metal residue on my hands after washing it. I googled it and it said stainless steel oxidizes. I really wish there was a warning about this beforehand, especially on how to care for the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by aemom from Wire Whip I love my Stand Mixer! but I am also having oxidization issues with the whip and one of the wires snapped! While making whipped cream!! not a heavy substance at all. Sad to see it is out of stock - right before Christmas when all the baking is to be done.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Amazoniac from NOT dishwasher safe - will be ruined As most reviewers here, I had the unfortunate happen: someone in my household didn't know this attachment wasn't dishwasher safe (there is no sign on it indicating otherwise), and after one dishwashing cycle, the attachment is black, seeps black residue, stains the hands, and is ruined 😫. Really wish the dishwasher safe version came stock with the mixer.Otherwise I have several attachments I'm happy with and love my Artisan 5 qt.

My husband thought it could go in the dishwasher and yup black hands and ruined food- not to mention god knows what chemicals we might have eaten if I had noticed the black AFTER eating! I come here to buy a stainless one and see it has a California prop 65 cancer warning on it! So do you have a beater that won’t cause harm?!I no longer have a way of mixing stuff and my trust in this brand is not too solid right now! The accessories for a mixer should all be food grade safe. Oxidation - I doubt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by gettingandspending from Poor quality I bought my current stand mixer KSM150 six or seven years ago,(better colour) and gave my old one, bought in 2002, to my son. I regret doing that as for the past three or more years, the wires have been popping out of the head of the whip. For the first one or two, I used liquid solder, but it only lasts a year or so and them I'm re-gluing. But now a third wire has popped out and I am FED UP. Now I have to do all my Christmas baking etc. with a hand mixer. I don't even like the mixer as it's hard to add ingredients and doesn't run well, and I wish for something like an updated model of the old Sunbeam Mixmaster with its wide glass bowl. And my OLD mixer is working perfectly at my son's. Shows you the decline in quality.
